Teaching Conference Fresno – [Elevated & Meaningful]
Elevated & Meaningful: This video is what I captured the spirit and purpose behind the Teaching Conference in Fresno California that happened on June 4th and 5th of 2016. This conference was greatly inspired by the latest and last Five Year Plan from the Universal House of Justice, of plans that have been devised for the past first century of the “Formative Age”. There are going to be wonderful and unexpected outcomes and surprises coming ahead soon. The 100 year anniversary of the Tablets of the Divine Plan by Abdu’l-Baha was celebrated, and 2 wonderful celebrations: “During the Five Year Plan about to commence, there will occur two momentous occasions of this kind: the two-hundred-year anniversaries of the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh and of the Birth of the Báb in 2017 and 2019 respectively.” (Universal House of Justice, December 29, 2015)
This conference was about advancing community towards a more prosperous spiritual and material civilization. The kind that reflects all those spiritual teachings that we gain in all the wonderful religions, such as love, unity, oneness and more.
The purpose of today is for us all to carry forward as Baha’u’llah says, “an ever-advancing civilization”. The purpose of our lives is to “…know and to worship God”, and carry His teachings in action to effect transformation within all humanity and the transformation of all social structures of society to reflect that which is in the best interest of all humanity. What may be seemingly ideal and impossible in the society, will be the reality as we spur forward and transform the world and ourselves, in the coming years ahead.
