Can Scientists Believe in God? | Dr. Enderle | UC Davis | [Elevated & Meaningful]

Dr. Enderle is a Chemist and a Theologian. He teaches Chemistry at UC Davis, and he is interested in the idea that God and Science can actually “share the same space” if viewed differently, than the traditional view. His point of view is very close if not the same, as the perspective of the Baha’i teachings on the concept of Science and Religion.

The following is a quote from Abdu’l-Baha:

“Any religious belief which is not conformable with scientific proof and investigation is superstition, for true science is reason and reality, and religion is essentially reality and pure reason; therefore, the two must correspond. Religious teaching which is at variance with science and reason is human invention and imagination unworthy of acceptance, for the antithesis and opposite of knowledge is superstition born of the ignorance of man. If we say religion is opposed to science, we lack knowledge of either true science or true religion, for both are founded upon the premises and conclusions of reason, and both must bear its test.”

PUBLISHING HIGH THOUGHTS | Abdu’l-Baha | [Elevated & Meaningful]

In this video I talk about the important aspect of publishing things that meets the needs of present day society.

The Beloved Master Abdu’l-Baha said:

“It is therefore urgent that beneficial articles and books be written, clearly and definitely establishing what the present-day requirements of the people are, and what will conduce to the happiness and advancement of society. These should be published and spread throughout the nation, so that at least the leaders among the people should become, to some degree, awakened, and arise to exert themselves along those lines which will lead to their abiding honor. The publication of high thoughts is the dynamic power in the arteries of life; it is the very soul of the world. Thoughts are a boundless sea, and the effects and varying conditions of existence are as the separate forms and individual limits of the waves; not until the sea boils up will the waves rise and scatter their pearls of knowledge on the shore of life.”

almost Accompaniment | [Elevated & Meaningful]

This video is not representative of the totality of what accompaniment looks like, it’s just a few friends dedicated in their local neighbourhoods who have gathered to discuss what they have so far learned and how we can keep on learning and growing our communities. That’s why I didn’t allow a full discussion to be in this video, rather my video is to merely show that such conversations are taking place in this dark age of the world, that there are individuals who exist that are committed to building up a new “Divine Civilization” as envisioned by Baha’u’llah (The Blessed Beauty).

The World Needs More… | [Elevated & Meaningful]

Some people think that the world is in great turmoil, others may think that the world is not that bad, and other’s may not give a care at all. This video is capturing some of the things people said that the world needs the most today. I do actually think that the world needs something, but I don’t want to share my thoughts, rather I will leave it up to you guys to figure out what you think the world needs today!

The California Aggie Interview | UC Davis | [Elevated & Meaningful]

In this video, you will get to watch a very interesting interview. The California Aggie found out about me from the Davis Enterprise article and “Amanda Cruz” the interviewer contacted me asking if I’d be willing to be on the UC Davis “The California Aggie” page, newspaper, blog, story, and etc. In other words, to be featured in the magazine. These experiences have been amazing, I am super thankful, super gratified, because I really never expected anything like this to happen. I am feeling that the general public is finding value in my efforts to raise public discussions to new levels and I am again super thankful! Lastly, these interviews, writers such as Elena Tom and Amanda Cruz, have really forced me to solidify my thinking and purpose in creating “Elevated & Meaningful”, I have been able to better articulate what the true purpose is, and of course this is an ongoing learning for me, so my channel may, in fact, evolve to something way beyond what I initially thought! For now, it makes sense…

Education is Not a Crime | Saeid Shanbehzadeh | Palace of Fine Arts 2016 | [Elevated & Meaningful]

Education is Not a Crime presents Saeid Shanbehzadeh to perform in support of bringing an end to Iranian government bothering young, creative, and open-minded students, to finally allow education to really be open to all people within Iran’s borders. Iran has been persecuting Baha’is for over 200 years and the current Iranian regime doesn’t see Baha’is as human beings that deserve the basic human rights the rest of the people have. The Baha’i Faith is a religion that seeks to unify all mankind in one universal cause, one common Faith, and the teachings of the Baha’i Faith mention that all major religions of the world are one and the same, that their differences arise only due to the varying needs of the time in which they appear, to elevate the conditions of the world. But, the spiritual teachings remain constant regardless of time. The main reason why there is so much difference is due to the misunderstanding and misinterpretation of the Divine Texts, and also due to people following in the footsteps of their forefathers, and tradition rather than investigating the truth of religious teachings and their main purpose.

Humanity should never experience problems such as the denial of access to education, this is the most basic human rights we all deserve regardless of what one confesses to believe or what religion one decides to follow.

Please, whoever reads this and watches the video, do what you can to bring an end to how the government of Iran is treating its minorities by sharing this video, talking about this subject to your friends, family, and peers.

Maziar Bahari Founder of Education is Not a Crime Campaign:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maziar_Bahari

Maziar Bahari was also the journalist who was arrested for smuggling photos of the riots that broke out in Iran in 2009, to BBC. Read for bit more detail below:
“In June 2009, BBC journalist Maziar Bahari, an Iranian-born Canadian citizen, returned to his native country to interview Mir-Hossein Moussavi, the prime challenger to incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. When Moussavi’s supporters protested Ahmadinejad’s declaration of victory, Bahari smuggled footage of the riots to the BBC. He was soon arrested by the Revolutionary Guard and — led by a man known only as “Rosewater” — was interrogated and tortured for 118 days.” (Introduction to the “Rosewater” 2014 movie, directed by Jon Stewart).
